Love One Another

We have been exploring what it means to Love God and one of the great things that happens, is that as you love God more – you can’t help but Love People more.

Jesus said that people will know we are His followers by our love for each other. It makes sense – as He has loved us, so we should love one another. One way to look at this is the idea of “koinonia” – fellowship, sharing in common. One of the most powerful ways to understand what it means to love one another, to find koinonia, is to look at the early followers of Jesus:

Be devoted to one another: Romans 12:10

Honour one another Romans 12:10

Live in harmony with one another Romans 12:16

Accept one another Romans 15:7

Serve one another in love Galations 5:13

Be kind and compassionate to one another Ephesians 4:32

Encourage one another 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Spur one another on toward love and good deeds Hebrews 10:24

Offer hospitality 1Peter 4:9
